When programming mkemne:) I initially had a YouTube-Mentality which translates into "Just do it".
The YouTube founders had launched the now popular video portal to the public and let users upload ripped music, videos and a lot of other "illegal" stuff. Nobody cared until Google bought it.

Somehow I felt the same with mkemne - create a portal which allows users to simply grasp the stock market - but through all the cease & desist letters going around I was kind of getting worried. Nobody actually wrote me one but I rather shut it down until I find a new stock price provider than getting into trouble.

What are your thoughts on this? Should I say f*** that? Am I too scared?

If you have got any ideas, questions or thoughts on this, feel free to post a comment in the blog.

Your stock market addict, Nader

UPDATE: I am currently looking for another stock price provider. Stay tuned!

Should you still be interested in how cool mkemne:) actually is, check out the blog or the screenshots and information below.

Thanks go to Ajaxian, all the other blogs and people who wrote me a lot of positive but also negative feedback! Thanks also to the interesting people I met through mkemne:) !

Nader Cserny, Media Professional based in Berlin, Germany writes: I am interested in the stockmarket since the age of 14 and until today I am horified by the existing services. Google Finance being a welcome exception. With mkemne:) I wanted to create a portal that enables everybody to access market data in a fast and easy way.
